How to use Watermark Images

1. Add the photos you own

Add one or several photos in the left panel. Click another thumbnail to check the watermark on a portrait, landscape or different composition before exporting. Originals are not modified.

2. Design and position your mark

Enter a short name, upload a logo, or combine both into one group with the logo above the text. Change opacity, color, rotation or outline. Drag the group or use the nine position buttons. Repeat mode distributes the mark over the photo rather than only in a corner.

3. Apply placement and export

Position and size are relative to each photo, not fixed screen pixels. Use Apply this placement to all photos to make the collection consistent, then adjust any photo separately. Download one image or all successful exports in a ZIP.

Keep the watermark readable without covering the subject

For a product catalog, a small logo in the same corner gives a consistent brand signature. Start with moderate opacity, inspect it on both bright and dark backgrounds, and move it when it covers an important detail. Transparent PNG logos avoid an unwanted rectangle behind the mark; JPG logos include their own background.

For a portfolio preview, a repeated watermark makes it harder to remove every mark with one simple crop, but no visible watermark guarantees protection from copying or editing. Keep the original, higher-resolution source separately and publish only the version you intend to share. This tool adds visible pixels, not hidden ownership information or DRM.

Text, logo, opacity, font and rotation are shared across the collection. A photo-specific placement overrides the shared position and size, allowing one portrait to avoid a face without changing every other photo. Applying a placement to all clears those individual overrides. Long text or a tall logo is reduced when needed to fit a single mark inside the photo; repeated marks intentionally extend to the edges.

Privacy and practical limits

Image files are decoded and edited locally on your device. This editor does not upload your photos or logo. Work is held only in this tab and is lost on refresh, so download finished images before leaving.

Add up to 200 files within 512 MB of original files. Each image must be no larger than 50 MB, 60 megapixels or 16,384 pixels on either side. Only the active full-resolution image is retained for preview; exports run sequentially. ZIP output is limited to 256 MB. These are safety limits, not a promise that every phone has enough memory for the largest file. Smaller batches are safer on mobile.

Questions

Can I add both a logo and text?

Yes. They form one draggable group: logo above, text below. You can remove the text for a logo-only watermark or remove the logo for text only. Each output uses the same appearance settings.

Will the mark stay in the same place on different sizes?

The position is a proportion of the available space and the size is relative to photo width. A bottom-right placement therefore stays bottom-right on landscape and portrait images. Always inspect the actual photos when a face or product is close to that corner.

Can the watermark be removed?

It is baked into the exported image, not a detachable editing layer. However, someone may crop or retouch the result. A visible mark identifies the shared copy; it is not a technical guarantee against misuse.

What happens to transparency and metadata?

PNG and WebP can preserve source transparency. JPG flattens it onto white. Camera EXIF and GPS metadata are not copied to the new file. Keep originals if you need that information.
